Debra Jean (Snyder) Baum, 53, of Oswego, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Upstate Medical University Hospital after a long illness.
She was the wife of Robert Baum of Oswego.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late George and Kathryn (Wilson) Snyder.
Mrs. Baum was a graduate of Oswego schools and had been employed with the Oswego School District for 27years as a transportation aide.
In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her devoted son, Joshua Baum; two brothers, Dennis (Margaret) Snyder, of Oswego, and Kevin Snyder, of Hannibal; six sisters, Ann (Claude) Moody, of Florida, Carol (Fred) Tryon, Marian (Richard) Henderson and Kathleen (Michael) Amedio, all of Oswego, Ellen Bevacqua, of Fulton, Geraldine (Francis) Falanga, of Hannibal; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Snyder; and a brother, Thomas Snyder.
Calling hours will be held from 3-7 p.m., Sunday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7 p.m.
