Write a commentThe Oswego Summer Concert Series is back on Friday July 10, 2015 with the classic/hard rock band “Decree” ready to rock the riverfront in Oswego!
The concert series takes place every Friday night through August 21st along the West Riverwalk at Veterans Park Stage in Oswego. The Concert series will feature a variety of bands from all over Central NY, food vendors, and direct sale/craft vendors! Each night kicks off at 5pm with vendors and a DJ dance party, with the band taking the stage at 6pm.
“Decree” is one of CNY's top party rock bands comes to the stage to light up a hot July summer night! Lead by Oswego native Kent "The Bear" Proctor, Decree will play all of your favorite covers from Bon Jovi to Journey and everything else in between. This is one concert where the amps will be turned up and the river will be rocking!
The Concert Series is made possible through the support of its primary sponsor, the City of Oswego. “The first concert had an amazing turn out and the second concert was very family oriented. The City is very pleased with the response thus far with the concert series " said Mayor Tom Gillen.

The concert series is managed by Just Push Play Productions through a partnership with the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce. “The opening night jammed packed with over 300 in attendance. This third concert will be of the same scope with lots of fun and great music. If you are a fan of classic 80’s rock, do not miss the concert” said concert coordinator Nate Emmons.
