Deeanne DeAmbra, 79, of Oswego, died August 9, 2018, at Pontiac Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Gouverneur, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marie (Burch) Nelson.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Deeanne was a secretary at Northern Steel for over 30 years. She was also employed at the Oswego Speedway where she was a familiar face at the ticket booth.
She was a member of the Elks Auxillary 271 and served as its first Vice President.
Dee enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, she loved to travel and enjoyed her winters in Florida.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Patrick “Trigger” DeAmbra and her son, Scott Renski.
Dee is survived by her daughter, Alicia (Kyle) Costello, of Oswego; a daughter-in-law, Colleen Bailey, of Parish; five grandchildren, Alex Vescio, Jessica Renski, Nakia Bailey, Chenaya Renski, and Mattia Renski, and four great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home Tuesday, 3-6:00pm, with a service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home 11 West Albany Street, Oswego.
