The Oswego Music Hall opens the doors on its 47th season this Saturday, September 14th.
For the third consecutive year, area favorites The Delaney Brothers Bluegrass will open the season at the Lake Street venue. Showtime is at 7:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The Delaney Brothers will be taking part in a meet and greet reception before the show in honor of John Delaney's birthday.
The Delaney Brothers are one of Central New York's longest-tenured and best-loved bluegrass bands, and have won two Syracuse Area Music Awards (SAMMY's). Vocalist John Delaney and his son Jonathan Delaney are joined by Scott Corbett, Luke Parsnow and Jessica Collins (who's subbing Joe Davoli).
Additionally this Saturday, CNY music legend Bill Knowlton, radio host of Bluegrass Ramble, will attend the meet and greet and also emcee the evening's performance.
The Oswego Music Hall is located in the historic McCrobie Civic Center at 41 Lake Street in Oswego. The venue is handicapped accessible.
The Fall portion of the Music Hall's 2024-25 season will feature six Saturday evening performances on the National Stage, several open mic nights on Fridays, as well as additional shows produced by Guest Curators. IHeartOswego.com will feature an overview of the Fall Season in an article later this week.
Advanced sale tickets for The Delaney Brothers and all upcoming shows can be purchased online at www.oswegomusichall.org. Tickets are also available at The River's End Bookstore in downtown Oswego. The Fall 2024-24 schedule can be viewed on the website or on the Oswego Music Hall Facebook page.
