Dolores M. “Dee” Wallace, 88, a resident of Minetto, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Syracuse.

Her family was by her side.

Dee was born in Mexico, NY, the daughter of the late Harold and Daurice (Kelly) Kenyon. She was a life resident of the area.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Oswego Walmart. She had previously worked at the United Way of Oswego County, and at Green’s Department Store in Oswego.

She enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband and loved her many cats, some of whom were named Pita, Squeaky, Nee Noo, and Tee Too.

Dee was a dialysis patient for 6 years. It was not always easy, but she endured any problems that she faced with a great attitude. She was a tough cookie, but was also fun-loving, easy-going, and loved her New York Yankees!

She is survived by her husband, Andrew “Joe” Wallace of Minetto; her son, Timothy (Lori) Wallace of Minetto; a sister, Beverly Fravor of Fulton; two grandchildren, Tanya Perry and Elizabeth Wallace; two great-grandchildren Kyrah Perry and Jakob Perry; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Wallace, who died in 1957; two brothers, Harold Kenyon Jr., and William Kenyon, and a sister, Linda Howe.

Her family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs at the DCI Dialysis Clinic in Oswego and St. Luke Health Services for the wonderful care she received in those places.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.

Contributions in her memory can be made to Paws Across Oswego County, 2035 County Route 1, Oswego, NY,
