The Spring 2024 season at the Oswego Music Hall continues this weekend when the Lake Street venue will present two events in their Guest Curator Series.

Friday night, April 19 will see Music, Motion and Mindfulness curated by yoga instructor Ann Buchau of Citya Studios in Pulaski. Musicians James Bird, Travis Knapp and Annie Sumi will accompany an evening of gentle motion with their ethereal instrumentation and vocals. Chairs will be set up in a perimeter around the stage to allow for yoga mats to be placed on the floor in front of the stage. Buchau will lead some light stretching prior to the musical program.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 20 brings the final Spring 2024 edition of David Kaspar's Jazz By The Lake Series, featuring the Count Blastula Trio with Mike Dubaniewicz. The trio includes keyboardist Dan Pugh, drummer Dave Schlossberg and bassist/guitarist/vocalist Adam Fisher. They will be joined on Saturday by saxophonist Dubaniewicz to explore the jazz side of the band's repertoire.

Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, with a 7:30 p.m. show time.

Tickets for both events are available online at www.oswegomusichall.org, or can be purchased at The River's End Bookstore in downtown Oswego.

The Oswego Music Hall is located inside the historic McCrobie Civic Center at 41 Lake Street in Oswego. The all-volunteer organization is celebrating its 40th year of bringing local, regional and nationally-known performers to the Oswego area. The Music Hall is handicapped-accessible,  and light refreshments will be available for purchase.
