Write a commentDoris L. Stevens, 98 of Oswego passed away Thursday morning at the Morningstar Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Stevens was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Amos and Ada Flickinger Wilson.
She was the widow of the late Laverne F. Stevens who died February 25, 2015.
She was a life resident of the area and attended the Castle School, Kingsford Park and Graduated from the Oswego High School.
She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection and was active for many years in the Scriba Home Bureau.
Surviving our one daughter, Bonnie Dekay of Oswego, one son Bruce (Connie) Stevens of Scriba, three grandchildren Amy (Rick) Wallace, Lisa (Chris) Detor, Michael (Melissa) Stevens, four great grandchildren, Evan Jesgarzewski, Evan Jesgarzewski, Lillian Detor, Catherine Detor and Joseph Stevens, one brother Warren Wilson of Virginia Beach and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice in Mrs. Stevens’ memory.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
