Dorothy P. Demm, 87, a resident of Johnson Road, Oswego, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Manor at Seneca Hill.
Born in Oswego, she was a daughter of the late George and Agnes (LaManche) Perry.
She worked at SUNY Oswego in accounts payable for 20 years, retiring in 1989.
Dorothy enjoyed her world travels. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society and was a Eucharist Minister.
Surviving are her two daughters, Judy Tonkin, of Beacon, and Patty Monroe, of Oswego; three grandchildren, Christine Tonkin, James Monroe and Cory Monroe; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Demm, in 2008.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, in Minetto.
Burial will follow at Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
