Edna M. LeBouef, a resident of the town of Scriba, passed away Saturday, January 25th 2025, at Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego.
She would have been 84 years old on January 28th, 2025.
Edna was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late DeForest and Rosamond (Lyke) Bristol. She was a life resident of Oswego.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed, for 31 years, with Auxiliary Services at SUNY-Oswego. Edna was known by many for her creativity with various crafts, such as sewing, cake decorating and knitting to name a few but
especially for her plastic canvas art. She made many pieces and gave them as gifts. She not only loved doing plastic canvas but it kept her hands busy while watching television. She was an excellent cook and loved to bake. For many
years, she made a variety of Christmas cookies and put together cookie trays as gifts for family and friends. Edna was always willing to lend a hand to help others.
She is survived by her son, Todd A. LeBouef of Scriba; three sisters, Margaret Stachowicz of Oswego, Sally (Don) Flack of Oswego, and Mary Lou (Jim) Doud of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
