Edward J. Brady (aka Tarzan) 74, a resident of Brookfield Road in Mattydale, passed away Saturday, at the Iroquois Nursing Home in Jamesville.
Mr. Brady was born in Oswego, the son of the late Edward and Helen (Nichols) Brady. He had lived in the Syracuse area for many years.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed with the General Motors Corp. Fisher Body Division, in Syracuse. He was a member of United Auto Workers (UAW).
He is survived by his wife, Marion (Turner) Brady of Syracuse; three daughters, Nadene (Mark) Saltalamachia of Liverpool, Andrea (Kirk) Mook of Palermo, and Kathleen Brady of North Syracuse; two sisters, Cecile Scheinert of Oswego, and Doris Turner of Hannibal; two grandchildren, Nicole Franke of Syracuse, and Danielle Sharp of Liverpool; two great-grandchildren, Vincent Sharp and Dominic Sharp; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm Thursday, December 26th, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Spring burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 3:00 to 6:00pm Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 112 East Second Street in Oswego.
