Emma Wood has a passion to recognize and give value to children in difficult situations.
That is her passion and now it is becoming a reality.
The idea came when she was interning at DDS. There she saw firsthand the challenges that families face. She saw children at DDS, prisons, and jails where they were out of their element in difficult "adult" situations. From her own childhood experiences, Emma knew the lasting impressions these places left on a child. She set out to change that. She wanted the children to feel kindness, joy and hope in these unfavorable conditions.
Emma set out to help children with the little things that can brighten their day; like donations of crayons, coloring books, stuffed animals, and snacks. She wants to let children known that they are seen and someone cares about them and their happiness.
