Write a commentOn April 26th, 2025, Erin's Angels of CNY brought together approximately 100 bingo players for the 2nd annual “Designer Bag Bingo” tournament, an afternoon of fun, fashion and philanthropy to support the mission of mobilizing the community, individuals and resources to provide food for children in need in Central New York.
This year's event held at White Pines Commons in Phoenix, included ten games of bingo for an entry fee of $50 per person, a gently used bag sale, a prize basket raffle and food concessions raised more than $6,500 which will send over 6,000 meals into homes of children experiencing food insecurity.
“Our work is rooted in love and the belief that no child should face hunger. This wonderful event brings together fashion enthusiasts and bingo aficionados for a chance to win coveted designer handbags from designers such as Coach and Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Prada, Kate Spade and others while supporting a great cause,” said Sheila Dion, Founder and Executive Director of Erin’s Angels.
The 2025 Designer Bag Bingo event sponsors and contributors included Flex Hose Company Inc., Community Bank, White Plains Commons, Independent Pizzeria, Small Town Girl Marketing, Jennerations Bakery and Menter Ambulance.
