When it comes to United Way, Exelon employees are eager to help.

Through Exelon’s workplace campaign, which includes options for payroll deduction or one time donations, Exelon employees at the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station and James A. FitzPatrick contributed a combined total of more than $100,000 in support of United Way’s annual campaign. Employees at both sites also held a variety of fundraisers that generated nearly $9,000 in addition to their personal donations.

“Exelon and its employees at both the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station and James A. FitzPatrick have faithfully supported United Way of Greater Oswego County for many years,” said Executive Director Patrick Dewine. “I’m humbled by the generosity displayed by Exelon at both the local and corporate levels. The tremendous support they provide is vital to the success of our annual campaign. The care and concern that Exelon and its employees have for our community makes it possible for us to continue to address our three impact areas of ending hunger, helping children and youth succeed, and increasing the health and well-being of our communities.”
