Write a commentToday the Family Resource Center of Oswego County announced they will move their Fulton office from the Oswego County OBGYN offices on Phillips Street, to 20 Canalview Mall in Fulton.
The organization has had a Fulton office for almost 3 years and needed a more visible and larger space.
The Family Resource Center has been in Oswego County for 35 years and has served pregnant and new moms with free pregnancy testing, free parenting classes and free material items (upon taking parenting classes) such as diapers, wipes, formula and more for the last 35 years. The center serves not only moms, but also dads, single parents, custodial and non-custodial parents.
Open House Tuesday October 1st with Ribbon Cutting at 4pm
The Family Resource Center will have an all-day open house on Tuesday, October 1st from 8am till 7pm to accommodate all schedules. There will be a ribbon cutting by the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce at 4pm. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
How to Get Services
Anyone that is interested in the Family Resource Center services can call the center at 315-343-4866 to schedule an appointment. Pregnancy testing is available to walk-in’s as well as by appointment. Material items such as diapers, wipes, formula and baby clothing are available to parents that take parenting classes. Parents can choose the classes they want to take. There are both individual and group classes available. Classes are for mom’s and dad’s individually or as a couple.
