The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center will be presenting a public program, Feeding Our Feathered Friends, on Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 pm.

Late autumn and winter is a wonderful time for people to become acquainted with the avian friends who share all our seasons of the year. Feeding Our Feathered Friends features a slide presentation and talk with naturalist Pat Carney to introduce the real snow birds: local song birds that endure the rigors of winter with us. Birds’ habitat, foraging techniques, and seed preferences will be discussed. Following the indoor program, the group will talk a short wander along the trails to look for some of our feathered friends. Everyone should dress for a cool weather walk. A limited number of binoculars are available for use.

There is a $4.00 fee per person with a family rate of $12.00. Children under the age of 3 are free. The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is located at 748 State Route 183 in Amboy, between Routes 69 and 13 near Williamstown in eastern Oswego County.
