Fernande `Fern` Bouffard, 86, a resident of Scriba, passed away April 25, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in St. Theophile, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Paquette) Gauthier. Fern loved oil painting, knitting, playing cards and working in the yard and planting flowers.
Surviving is her husband, Lucien Bouffard; daughters, Gae Bouffard; Terri Bouffard; son, Michel (Cindy) Bouffard; three sisters, Juliette (Robert) Talon; Yvonne Plante; twin sister Rollande Lefebvre; seven grandchildren, Claire (Kyle) Torrice; Angelie (Ted) Elliott, Christine (Blake) Howell, Marianne (Steve) Ferry, Jaime Bouffard, Ariel Bouffard, Anthony Bouffard; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10th at the Oswego Alliance Church, Thompson Rd. Oswego.
