Flor Rivera, 72, a resident of 157 E. Fourth St., in Oswego, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at home.
Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Carmelo and Flora (Cruz) Rivera.
He worked at Novelis for more than 20 years before retirement. He enjoyed bowling, baseball and playing softball in the city leagues.
Flor loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Norma Barker and Linda Padua, both of Oswego, Jeanette Rivera, of Florida, and Antonio Feliciano, of Connecticutt; three sisters; 15 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Funeral services and burial will follow at Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
