Frances L. Tynan, 76, a resident of Scriba, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Newburgh, she was a daughter of the late Myron and Irene (Woodcock) Schaefer.
She retired in 1999 from St. Paul's Academy where she was secretary for 23 years.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Sr. of 58 years and her five sons, Harry Jr. (Cindy), of Oswego, James (Darlene,) of Oswego, Timothy (Michele), of East Amherst, Michael, of Scriba, Robert (Becky), of Syracuse, Ind.; she is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her brother, James Schaefer, of North Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, William, and her sister, Barbara Bosco.
At Fran's request, there will be no calling hours or services.
