Write a commentThe Minetto United Methodist Church will provide a free dinner on Wednesday, September 17, serving dine-in guests and take -outs in its dining room from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. or until the food is gone.
The dinner this month is sponsored and served by Our Lady of Perpetual Help, the Catholic parish in Minetto, as an ecumenical demonstration of our mutual mission of caring for others. The menu will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, roll and dessert. Freewill dinners this year are planned for the third Wednesday of each month.
Visitors and neighbors are always welcome at our Sunday service at 10:00 a.m. The interior and entrances to the building are fully handicap accessible. Videos of worship services and other information about the church can be found at a new website Minetto.org. A collection shed is available in the parking lot at the back of the church for donating clothing items that can be recycled. Useable items include: all clothing, shoes, sneakers, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, drapes, and stuffed toys.
