Studies have documented the stress-related health consequences for individuals caused by exposure to abusive work environments. In addition, these environments can create costly consequences for employers, including reduced productivity, absenteeism, turnover, additional health expenses, and costly litigation. All employees deserve to work in safe and abusive-free environments.
