Join the Friends of History in Fulton for a history talk with Herb Jerred on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the John Wells Pratt House Museum, 177 S. First St., Fulton.
A retired teacher, Herb Jerred has long had an interest in history, antiques and music. His research led him to begin collecting memorabilia from the Civil War and World War II and author the book, “88 Steps” about the refugees who found a ‘safe haven’ in Oswego during the Nazi Holocaust during the second World War.
Jerred will share his research and display pieces from his collection during the talk.
The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
