The Fulton Public Library is thrilled to announce its 2025 Summer Reading Program, Color Our World, a vibrant celebration of imagination, creativity, and the joy of reading.
Beginning July 1st, readers of all ages are invited to sign up, track their reading, and take part in a kaleidoscope of free events designed to spark curiosity and brighten summer days.
The program kicks off with a magical start at the Kickoff Party with Jeff the Magic Man on July 1st at 3:30 PM, followed by a full summer calendar bursting with colorful experiences—from tie dye and spin art to cookie painting, rock art, and DIY science experiments.
Special events include:
- G&G Animals Live Animal Show (August)
- Children’s Author Visit with The Write Kellys
- Disney Princess Storytime & Sing-Along
- Teen-Only Tie Dye and Guacamole Making
- Adult Author Visit: Carol Pouliot

- Color Fun Run 3K
With programming for children, teens, and adults, there’s something for everyone—from classic movie nights in the park to hands-on art workshops, trivia nights, and live music. The program concludes with an End-of-Summer Ice Cream Social on August 7th.
“Color Our World isn’t just about books—it’s about community, creativity, and connection,” said Library Director Caroline Chatterton. “Whether you’re painting a sugar cookie or crafting a lava lamp, every activity adds a little more color to our world.”
