The FUMC Quilters will be holding their 23rd annual Quilt and Craft Show on Saturday, October 15th from 10 – 3 at First United Methodist Church, 7111 St Rt 104 West, Oswego, N.Y. The church is located across from the Fruit Valley Vet Clinic.
As always, the Ladies of The Cloth have enjoyed creating quilts, table runners, placemats, aprons and a variety of items that make great gifts. Just in time for Christmas, and all at reasonable prices.
Kerrie Barnes of the Four Seasons Quilters will be presenting her next installment of “Trash Your Stash”. This year’s demonstration is called the Missouri Big Block, using 10” squares.
Coming back this year will be Sweet Shop Desserts with her delicious pies, and other familiar faces like Sandy and Dick Gorman, Debbie Buske, and Debbie Hough, as well as some new vendors with unique gifts of their own.
There will be a Silent Auction and all proceeds of the auction go to the American Cancer Society in memory of our former leader, Kay Godden because we are determined to find a cure.
From noon on we will be offering a Barbecue Chicken Dinner. The cost is $9.00 for a full dinner, $5.00 for children or just a chicken half. Takeouts available.
