Gary O. Mulcahey, 60 and a resident of Oswego passed away Monday morning.

Gary was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Charles and Marie Fetterly Mulcahey.

Mr. Mulcahey was a veteran of the US Navy.

He had been employed for many years as a Boilermaker and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermaker Local 175-5. His work took him throughout the United States. He retired in 2010.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Crouch Mulcahey of Oswego, one daughter Jessica (Raymond Woolson) Crouch of Oswego, two sons Mathew C. (Anna) Mulcahey and Brian (Anna Phelps) Cooley both of Oswego, four brothers David (Debbie) Mulcahey, Michael (Darcy Phillips) Mulcahey, Steven (Elise Williams) Mulcahey and Randy Mulcahey all of Oswego, four grandchildren Joseph Mulcahey, Trenton Mulcahey, Diana Mulcahey and Timothy Woolson, several neices and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister Deborah Mulcahey, two brothers Charles Mulcahey and Ricky Mulcahey.

Funeral services will be held 9:00AM Friday from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9:30AM in St. Paull’s Church.

Calling hours Thursday 5-8PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
