Write a commentThe H. Lee White Marine Museum and Maritime Center, on Oswego's West First Street Pier, is offering kids an opportunity to get in the spirit for the holidays by attending a Gingerbread Ornament Workshop at 2-3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17.
Children will be provided with their choice of two real gingerbread cookie ornaments to decorate – one will decorate the museum's main holiday tree and one is for them to take home.
The workshop will also include a festive story, other crafts and light refreshments. The crafts will be held at the museum, so space is limited. Call today to reserve a spot. This activity is geared for children ages 3 years old and older. A donation of $4 per child is requested.
