Write a commentIt’s back! One of Oswego County’s most unique and entertaining events, Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) Glow For OCO Golf Tournament.
Presented by G&C Foods, the Glow for OCO Golf Tournament offers golfers a challenging and fun evening of golf under the stars. The event will be held August 16th with teams of four teeing off at dusk with special glow-in-the-dark golf balls as they take on the challenging course at the Tamarack Golf Club, 2021 County Route 1, Oswego in an exciting “Best Ball” tournament.
“OCO’s Glow-A-Fun Golf Tournament is the highlight of the golf season!” said OCO Development Coordinator Bridget Dolbear. “Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy an evening of some crazy fun. Last year’s golfers are already reaching out to us for registration information and putting teams together for this year.”
In addition to golf there will be a number of games and contests that golfers can participate in. There will also be prizes, food and refreshments.
Proceeds from the Glow-A-Fun Golf Tournament will support OCO’s “There’s No Place Like A Home” initiative.
“We envision a community where everyone has a safe and secure place to call home,” explained Dolbear. ‘There’s No Place Like A lives and become self-sufficient. Proceeds from the Glow for OCO Golf Tournament will support programs that are aimed at providing those services.” Home’ is a theme that will permeate throughout all of our activities and events this year.
