Write a commentHelen Jane Pittsley, 63 of Scriba, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Beacon, N.Y., she was the widow of Richard Pittsley, who died April 16, 2007.
She had been employed for many years at the Oswego Branch of Key Bank. Helen was Board Member of the Oswego Women's Bowling Hall of Fame. She loved going on ocean cruises.
She is survived by one son, Robert Gessner, III and his fiancé, Nicole Joseph of Hannibal; one brother, William Myers, of Hyde Park; her companion with whom she had recently resided, Michael Novak, of Phoenix; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 16, from the Lycoming Methodist Church.
Burial will be in North Scriba Cemetery.
Calling hours are 4-7 p.m., Thursday,Nov. 15, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St.
