Helen was a past-exalted ruler of the Oswego Elks Lodge. Helen's love for animals made her a mark for every stray cat around. Helen campaigned tirelessly for environmental issues.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas; daughters, Laura (Greg) Warren of Southwest Ranches, FL, Sharon Furletti of Ovid, NY, and Deborah Gilman of CT; grandchildren, Gina Warren, Lance Warren, and Julian Gilman.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen.
Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Tuesday, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany Street, Oswego.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oswego County Humane Society.
