Write a commentThe Holiday History Shop is located in the SUNY Oswego Downtown Store on the corner of West First Street and Bridge in Oswego. The shop features item from the H. Lee White Maritime Museum, Fort Ontario, Richardson-Bates House Museum, Oswego Railroad Museum, Scriba Historical Society and more.
The hours are 12-5 pm from now till Christmas Eve with the exception of Sunday when the shop is closed.
The shop offers souvenirs and memorabilia from museums and historical societies from around the county. Items sold at the Holiday History Shop make great gifts and the proceeds benefit the museums and organizations that preserve and present Oswego County's rich history to its residents and visitors. Each purchase supports these groups as they work to promote Oswego County's significant role in commercial, industrial, farming and military history.
The historical societies and museums would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to SUNY Oswego for providing the space used to house the Holiday History Shop.
