Write a commentThe Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Annual Chamber Holiday Social will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, at The Oasis at Thunder Island, beginning at 5p.m.
Once again, the event will include a Silent Auction, with 50 percent the proceeds being donated to the local food pantries through the United Way of Oswego County.
In the next few weeks, the chamber will be contacting businesses for donation items.
"We ask that donations be a minimum of $25 and we may combine some items to create gift baskets, but all donor businesses will be recognized on the auction item, on the table cards at the event and in all thank you ads after the event," said Lisa Gray, event manager.
The chamber will be happy to pick donated auction items and perish items such as plants or food baskets can be picked up the morning of the event if necessary.
