Write a commentOur very own Jack DelConte, a senior at Oswego High School, has received the prestigious Hawke-Pettinelli Scholarship Award presented by the Syracuse Wrestling Officials Association.
This award recognizes Jack's outstanding contribution to the Central New York Wrestling community and his positive reflection of the sport. Candidates must complete an application and go through an interview process to be selected for this award. We would like to congratulate and recognize this year’s recipient Jack DelConte.
Jack has been a dedicated member of the Oswego Wrestling Program since 7th grade, and he has consistently demonstrated his commitment and talent on the mat. As a varsity wrestler, Jack has recorded 12 wins, including 7 pins. His leadership skills were recognized when he was selected as the captain of our varsity wrestling team this year. Jack has also excelled academically, earning the title of scholar-athlete each wrestling season. We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments, and wish him the best of luck as he continues his education at Cornell University.
