Born in West Monroe, He was a son of the late Harold and Marion (Thrope) Delamater Sr.
He enjoyed working on cars and loved to fish.
Surviving are his companion of 38 years, Doreen Ormsby, daughter, Rikki Brower, two brothers, Merrill (Sally) Delamater, Wayne Delamater, a sister, Cora Bailey and three grandchildren, Dylon Michael Thomas, Nicholass Michael Brower and Salvatore Michael Pauldine.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Harold Delamater Jr. and James Delamater.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
