James T. Stone, 20, of Oswego died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
James was born in Oswego on April 4, 1992, and was a son of the late Dennise Stone.
He had recently been employed at McDonalds Restaurant, in Oswego.
James was a graduate of McDowell County High School class of 2010 in Marion, N.C. where he was active in the ROTC program. He loved basketball.
He is survived by two sisters Micayla D. Stone, of Minetto, Caitlyn A. Stone, of Oswego; his grandparents, Sherry Yeager of Marion, N.C., and James Yeager, of Oswego; his maternal great grandfather, James Canard, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a step-grandfather, Richard Marinelli, of Marion; and his second family, Ron and Jen Henderson, and their children Dalton, Dillon and Nakia Henderson, of Florida; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m.,Tuesday, April 2, from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Spring burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St.
