Born in Wakefield, R.I., she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Madeline (Baker) Bowen.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling with her husband while he served with the U.S. Navy.
She enjoyed bowling, golfing, sailing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband, Robert Ramstad; two daughters, Karen (Jack) LeBlanc, of Frankford; Jean (Fiance Michael Bujnowski) Ramstad of Sunrise, Fl; a son, David (Connie) Ramstad, of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Robin and Susan Bowen, both of Boston; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, with a service to follow, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
