Write a commentJohn J. Allison, 76, a resident of Liberty St., in Oswego, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was a son of the late Robert and Margaret (Dwyer) Allison.
John worked as a self-employed handyman, doing yard work and snow removal for several families.
He enjoyed watching old movies.
John is survived by his brother, Robert F. Allison and his sister, Theresa Allison, both of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas and James Allison; and sisters, Marguerite Vetter and Mary Menard.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 21, at St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
