Jomuel Rodriguez Fuentes, 14, of Oswego, passed tragically on May 26, 2025.
Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he was the youngest child of Sandro Rodriguez Ramos and Wilnelia Fuentes Pizarro.
Jomuel was an Oswego High School freshman and a loving, kind, and caring son, brother, and friend. Jomuel loved music and had a talent for all things creative. He excelled in the Marching and Jazz bands, and the trombone was his favorite instrument. He was also involved in chorus, the theater, as part of the backstage crew for the Drama Club, and was a member of the outdoor adventure club. Jomuel was very smart and an excellent student. He loved to be involved and was always active. He also loved rollerblading and enjoyed building and creating things, especially Legos and RC cars.
Jomuel is survived by his loving parents Sandro and Wilnelia Rodriguez Fuentes, his sister Wilsanely Ivette Rodriguez Fuentes, and brother Sandro Lemuel Rodriguez Fuentes, his titi Sayri Fuentes Pizarro as well other Titis (aunts), Tios (uncles), and Primos (cousins).
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 4-7 pm, with a service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street. Entombment will take place in St. Peter Cemetery at a later time. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
