Write a commentJoyce Maria Mangano, 74 of Oswego passed away Monday morning at her home.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Neil and Jane Sikes Batchelor.
Mrs. Mangano had been employed for many years as a team leader at the Owens Glass Plant in Volney and later as a CNA at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
She is survived by her husband Thomas J. Mangano, one sister Jane (Don) Tonkin of Oswego, two brothers, Craig Batchelor of Oswego, Kenneth Batchelor of Scriba, one step daughter Sarah Mangano of Oswego, a stepson in-law Wayne Cornelius, six step grandchildren, seven great step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by one brother, Paul Batchelor, one stepchild Laurie Anna Mangano Cornelius.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in North Volney Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
