Frederick Leighton Elementary School held its fifth annual “Bucs, Books and Baskets” Literacy Night, bringing together students, families and community members to celebrate reading and the success of its schoolwide Read-A-Thon.
The Rural Schools Association of New York presented the honor to elementary school librarian Megan Cernaro after school on Friday, April 17th, in the Mexico Elementary School gymnasium.
