She was born and raised in Oswego, the daughter of the late C. Richard and Marguerite P. Kelly. Kathleen married her high school sweetheart, Thomas M. Turner, in 1960. They traveled the world, living as far as Turkey and Germany before raising their family in Liverpool, NY. She and her husband returned to their beloved hometown in 1996.
Kathleen worked at General Electric before serving as Parish Secretary for Christ the King Church in Liverpool for over 25 years. As a lifetime volunteer, she contributed countless hours to various causes, including the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the H. Lee White Museum. Her legacy of unwavering kindness, deep faith, and commitment to her family and community will continue to inspire.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Donna) Turner of Wilmington, NC, Sally Turner, and Kelly Turner, both of Syracuse NY; Grandchildren Timothy Seib, Sarah Seib, Erin Turner, Victoria (Patrick) Rogers, Matthew Turner, Elizabeth (William Pinela) Turner, and Ian Turner; and Great-Grandchildren, Cambria and Asher Rogers.
Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Turner; Sister, M. Arlene Kelly; Brothers, Richard S., James G., and Roger M. Kelly; and Grandson-in-law, Jason M. Markle.
Services will be held in the future.
