Write a commentKathryn "Katie" Schneider, 85, of Oswego, passed away Saturday morning, May 25, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Redfield, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Caroline Fischer Schneider.
Miss Schneider was a graduate of Crouse Irving School of Nursing, class of 1948, and had been employed for many years at the Oswego Hospital as a registered nurse.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Miss Schneider is survived by one sister, Margaret S. Eron, of Camillus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Rudolph Schneider, Edwin Schneider, Ferd Schneider, John Schneider and two sisters Helen VonHoltz and Elsie Schneider.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9 a.m., in St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
