Back by popular demand, a magical journey will once again take place this Christmas for students of all ages in the Oswego City School District. Children and their parents are invited to kick off the holiday season and sport their fleece and flannel PJs for the 10th annual Polar Express Pajama Party. The event will take place at Oswego High School on Friday, December 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Inspired by the award-winning book by Chris Van Allsburg, the evening has become a cherished tradition for children of all ages and their families. The special evening will begin in the OHS cafeteria with a visit from Santa, crafts, a book reading and face painting. Pizza slices will be sold for $2 each and bottled water for $1 each. At 7 PM, the fun continues with a showing of the original movie The Polar Express in the OHS Ralph Faust Theater. Blanket, pillows, and bedtime attire are welcome.

Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the River’s End Bookstore until store closing on November 30. Limited tickets will be sold at the door for $7 each. The event is sponsored by the Kingsford Park Home and School Association and is open to all families in the community. The event will benefit the KPS Scholarship Program.
