Write a commentStudents at Kingsford Park Elementary School in Oswego recently held their Battle of the Books competition, and the winners will now continue on to the district-wide event on March 4th at 6 pm at the Oswego High School Ralph M. Faust Theater.
Battle of the Books is a popular reading initiative that allows students to assemble teams to read a provided list of books, and then compete with others on their familiarity with the authors and readings.
The competition includes two age groups – third and fourth-graders; and fifth and sixth-grade students.
The winners of the third and fourth-grade competition are pictured to the left.

The district winners will advance to the county-wide Battle of the Books competition planned for March 24th and hosted by the Fulton City School District.
