     Kristen's at Battle Island is open to the public for the season for the eigth year in a row.

     Kristen's Kitchen features a full service restaurant and hosts all events like baby showers, weddings and parties.

     Kristen Aluzzi has been running the historic restaurant, golf course and pro shop since 2006 with great success.

     "We are looking to provide more service to our loyal customers and hope to attract new people with our family-friendly restaurant and southern style hospitality," Aluzzi said. "The golf course has never looked or played better, the pro shop is fully stocked and we are expecting a great season."

     In addition to fine dining, Aluzzi has added off-site catering, new events and recently opened her official website www.KristensKitchenInc.com, created by the iHeart Corp of Oswego.

     "We have teamed up with iHeart in order to create a local presence for Kristen's at Battle Island with the Oswego County community," Aluzzi said. "After all, we are a historic part of this county's history and appeal to visitors as well as golfers and diners."

     Kristen's at Battle Island is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 6:00 p.m. A full menu is offered that includes dishes from Italian to Southern BBQ.

     This Sunday, Kristen's Kitchen will feature a Father's Day Breakfast from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The menu includes waffles, eggs benedict, mimosas and a full table of desserts.
