Write a commentIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving son, brother, and proud uncle, Kristian Donovan, who passed away at the Oswego Hospital on May 29, 2025, at the age of 48.
A lifelong sports fanatic, Kristian had an incredible passion for the game—whether it was cheering on his favorite teams, reciting player stats with uncanny precision, or never missing a Sunday game. His love for sports was only surpassed by the love he had for his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who adored their beloved Unc.
Kristian was a devoted son and a loyal brother whose presence brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. His quick wit, kind heart, and generous soul will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
He is survived by his parents Daniel and Valerie (Shannon) Donovan, siblings Kelsey Burns, Shannon Hammond, and Emma (Adam) Clawson, his aunts, uncles and cousins and his cherished nieces and nephews Nora, Kali, Danny, and Will, who will carry his memory forward with love and pride.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses of the Oswego ICU for their care, kindness, and compassion not only towards Kristian but his family as well.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 12pm at St. Stephen the King Church.
