     Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St. in Oswego, is offering two classes for the fall.

     Carol Burghart is teaching a full day workshop in "Golden Glow," the use of gold gesso as underpainting, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14. The fee for this workshop is $70.
     Sue Nix is teaching a class in polymer clay art jewelry from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 19. Polymer clay art jewelry is a popular form of "statement" jewelry. Made from polymer clay and simple metal findings, it is an inexpensive way for all to wear art. It can be whimsical and fun or intriguing and unique. Match your outfit or your mood, the choice is yours. The fee for this class is $45. There will also be a materials fee for this class.
     To reserve a place in one of these classes, a reservation fee of $10 is required. This fee will be applied to the total cost of the class.
