The Oswego County Legislature recognizes the Substance Awareness Family Education (S.A.F.E.) Fair which provides education about the harmful effects of synthetic marijuana and other drugs. Community awareness is the first step to overcoming common misconceptions about this public health problem, recognizing the symptoms of abuse, and preventing addictions and fatalities. The event runs from 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26 at the Oswego Elks Lodge #271 on the corner of West Bridge and Fifth streets in Oswego and admission is free.
