Write a commentThe Oswego Public Library held "Celebration of Service and Art" event Sunday, March , to honor the years of service by board trustees Mary V. Shanley, Eleanor "Ellie" Cali and Charles D. Young.
These long-time library supporters were inducted into Trustee Emeriti status and their names were added to a Dedication Plaque which was unveiled during the program and will hang at the main entrance of the library. Also presented at the event as a display and short program on photographer Ella Wheeler and her prints made from a 110-year-old glass plates, made possible from a grant through the Northern New York Library Network.
