Next month, a course that outlines different techniques in creating resumes and cover letters will be offered on Wednesday, September 6th from 2-4pm and on Saturday September 16th from 2-4pm, to allow patrons two separate times to attend.
This course will cover both how to use templates to create professional-looking resumes, and what kinds of information to include in both resumes and cover letters.
An evening class will be available on Tuesday, September 26th from 5-7pm: Downloading eBooks to Digital Devices. Using Overdrive will be held earlier on the same day from 2-4pm to allow patrons to find out more information about using North Country Library System’s online book lending services through Overdrive.

• Using Overdrive (Tues. September 26th, 2-4pm) and Downloading eBooks to Digital Devices (Sept. 26th, 5-7pm).
• Creating Resumes and Cover Letters (Wed. Sept. 6th, 2-4pm and Sat. Sept. 16th, 2-4pm).
• Computer Maintenance (Thurs. Sept. 7th, 2-4pm), Computer Tune-Up (Thurs. Sept. 14th, 2-4pm), Upgrading your PC (Thurs. Sept. 21st, 2-4pm) and Components of a Computer (Thurs. Sept 28th, 2-4pm).
• Navigating eBay (#1 and #2), Mon. Sept 25th, 10am-12pm and 2-4pm.
• Miscellaneous Workshops: Navigating Facebook (Wed. Sept. 13th, 2-4pm), Utilizing Windows 10 (Wed. Sept. 20th, 2-4pm) and Navigating NCLS Online (Wed. Sept. 20th, 2-4pm).
Tech Help Open Labs will be held on Thursday and Fridays next month and are available from 10am till 12pm on each of the following dates: September 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, 19, 21, 22, 26 and 28.
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library, and is open Monday-Friday. All programs are free and open to the public.
