Library Learning Center offers free E-Reader Petting Zoo class

     Thinking about getting an e-reader, but not sure which one is right for you? At the E-Reader Petting Zoo, patrons will learn about the many tablet options that are available on the market and will be able to test some devices including an ipad, Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Nook Color.

     If you already have a tablet but would like to learn more about it, the Library Learning Center will be hosting a Downloading E-Books for Kindle class Tuesday, March 5, and a Downloading E-books for IPad Class Tuesday, March 26. The Oswego Public Library also boasts a Downloading E-books open lab From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., every Friday in March. The Library Learning Center offers advanced classes on Saturdays.
The March schedule includes:
March 2 – Quicken, 10 a.m.. to 12 p.m. E-Reader Petting Zoo, 1-3 p.m.
March 9 – Twitter, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Writing Cover Letters, 1-3 p.m.
March 16 – Practicing Microsoft Word 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Pinterest, 1-3 p.m.
March 23 – How to Start a Family Garden, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
     The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library and is open Monday-Saturday. All programs are free and open to the public. To register or for questions, call the library at 341-5867.
