This class is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Topics covered by the instructor include: Windows 8 basics, organizing files and folders, personalizing appearance, and basic maintenance. No previous experience with computers or Windows OS is necessary.
In addition to our new Windows 8 workshop, The Oswego Public Library's Library Learning Center will feature Advanced Kindle Fire, E-Reader Petting Zoo, Getting to Know Your IPhone, and Intro to Excel. Dates and times are as follows:
Oct. 12 – Advanced Kindle Fire, 1-3 p.m.
Oct. 18 – E-Reader Petting Zoo, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Oct. 19 – Getting to Know Your Iphone, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Oct. 26 – Intro to Excel, 1-3 p.m.
The Library Learning Center is located on the lower level of the Oswego Public Library, and is open Monday-Saturday. All programs are free and open to the public. To register for workshops or for more information, call the library at 341-5867.
